Coverage
Communities we deliver to
We run dumpsters out of our 6143 Regency W Dr yard across every corner of Racine and out into Racine County and Southeastern Wisconsin's Lake Michigan shoreline. If your community is not on this list, call us anyway. We probably still get there.
Before you call
Have these four things ready
- 1
The delivery address
Street address, and if access is tight — a narrow driveway, an alley, a shared lot — mention it. Some of the older residential blocks near downtown Racine and the tighter village streets in Union Grove or Waterford can run narrower than a typical suburban street; we plan around it either way.
- 2
What is going in it
Household contents, roofing, mixed construction debris, furniture, yard waste — and flag anything hazardous, like chemicals, fuels, batteries or refrigerants, so we can guide you on safe disposal instead of loading it in with everything else.
- 3
Where it should sit
Driveway, curb lane or jobsite. In most cases, placement entirely on your own property needs no permit; a street or curb placement is a different matter — tell us when you book and we'll walk you through it.
- 4
When you need it
Same day, tomorrow morning, or a set date — and roughly how long you want to keep it. Extensions are easy to arrange, but planning ahead is best.
Permits
Property vs. public right-of-way
On your own property
A dumpster that sits entirely on your own driveway, yard or lot is the setup for the large majority of jobs we deliver across Racine and Racine County — that kind of placement generally falls outside the right-of-way rules that a street or curb placement can trigger. If you are not sure where your property line falls or how your street is treated, ask us when you book and we will tell you plainly before the truck ever leaves the yard.
On the street or right-of-way
Placement in a public street, on a sidewalk or anywhere else in the right-of-way is where a permit typically becomes relevant. The City of Racine handles that process through its Department of Public Works, and since Racine County does not run one countywide waste ordinance — each community sets its own rules — the exact requirement can look a little different once you cross into Mount Pleasant, Caledonia, Sturtevant, Union Grove or Waterford. Rather than guess at a rule we can't confirm in writing, we tell every customer the same thing: call Racine DPW at (262) 636-9171 to confirm what your specific street requires, or just ask us when you book — we deal with this every week and will point you the right way. If your project also involves digging — a fence line, footings, a new driveway apron — call Diggers Hotline at 811 (or 800-242-8511 toll-free) before anything goes in the ground, whether or not you're renting from us.
Answers
Contact questions
What information do you need when I call?
Four things, and the call takes about two minutes: the delivery address, roughly what you're throwing away, where you want the container to sit, and when you need it. If you're unsure about the size, describe the pile and we will size it. A photo of the driveway or curb helps if the placement is tight.
Do you serve my community?
We cover Racine and out to Mount Pleasant, Caledonia, Sturtevant, Union Grove and Waterford — 5 communities in all beyond Racine proper, spanning Racine County. Just outside that? Call anyway — we can usually make it work.
What are your hours?
Mon–Sat 7:00am – 7:00pm. Deliveries and collections run through the working day. Ring outside that window and leave your address on a message — we'll call back first thing.
Can I email instead of calling?
You can email info@dumpsterrentalracine.com and we'll reply, but the phone is far quicker for anything time-sensitive. Sizing a container is a conversation — two questions on a call usually settles what an email thread will not. For same-day delivery, always ring.
Is there a charge for a quote?
No. Quotes are free and given over the phone, not an estimate that moves later. We run flat-rate pricing based on the container size, the debris type and how long you keep it — tell us the job and we'll tell you exactly where yours falls, and when a smaller container does the job, before anything is booked.
Do I need a permit for my address?
Depends where the container sits. In most cases, a container entirely on your own driveway, yard or lot needs no permit. A public street or curb placement is a different matter, and the specific process changes from community to community across our route — mention it when you call and we'll walk you through what your job needs, or check with the local Department of Public Works directly.
